4 photos shot in the Philippines win at 2018 Ocean Art Underwater Photo Competition

Tech and news web magazine CNet.com featured 16 breathtaking underwater shots from different countries on January 19. Four of these photos were taken from the beautiful islands of the Philippines.

Declared as the best in show winner is a shot of three spinetail devil rays at Honda Bay in Palawan by Duncan Murrell. The piece won The Best of Show image from the 2018 Ocean Art Underwater Photo Competition.

The three other photos were taken in Anilao, Batangas. The red hairy shrimp taken by Sejung Jang bagged the compact macro category.

Another image of a hairy shrimp was caught on camera by Edison So in Anilao, Batangas.
The photo won first place in the Supermacro category.

The Ocean Art Underwater Photo Competition is one of the prestigious nature photo contests in the world that showcases the best underwater photographs of the year.
